Bringing Sexy Back. AKA 93' LWB RRC

Cool build. I love to see RR Classics still on the road no matter what's under the hood. If it does develop to roll coal on steep grades then that's just a sign that it's still running. Dump a qt of ATF in the fuel every fill-up and you'll keep your injectors/pump alot happier.

RRC - Changing the ECM, from 13cu to 14cu or 14cux

The 14CUX has the tune resistor internally so don't waste your time looking for it. The only change that needs to be done other than just plugging it in is if you are planning on using your A/C. If so then you have to add a relay into the mix(as if Rovers don't have enough relays)due to the...

The only true way to improve gas milage on a Unimog is to get a bigger fuel tank!

    u1300 om366la

Fast axles? Engine work? Injection pump? Intercooler? Bigger tires? There's alot of variables to factor in. I do have the 366 and I get 10-15mpg with my U1300 ambulance depending on my right foot.

SBU, how much cab corrision is too much corrosion, and what to do about it.

Scott @ EI had a full cab not that long ago. If you factor in the shipping cost to the states his prices don't seem so "WOW". Good luck!

New to group. Just got my two ex firetruck extended cab U1300l's

Super excited to see what you do with the one you keep. I've now imported 12 of these over yrs and the 1st few were a pain...not with customs but with the local/state folks. Put a couple of qts of ATF in the tanks with the fuel and run them to help displace any funk and H2O and then change the...

    New guy here

Through the yrs I've had VW's, Rovers, Domestic Vans, and even 710K+712K Pinzgauers. No matter how I built/outfitted them they were never big enough or could do what I wanted them to do or haul. I think the natural progression is to move towards a Unimog in the end. I have a U1300 now and am...
