    37s Load D or E?

Thanks for the feedback. I'm personally searching for an A/T, or hybrid A/T, vs M/T. Not all 18's, or even E load, have a higher rating. There are some goofy ones. (I'm not a slide-in, but instead a composite flatbed camper, but I hear what you're saying) For you moving to 18s, have you looked...

2020 Ford F250 on 37s - Expedition Truck Camper Build!

Reposted from here; https://expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/37s-load-d-or-e.220996/page-3#post-3001941 We drove the entire state of Idaho off road (videos coming) with the tires aired down the entire time front 20-25psi and rear 30-35psi. 1,500 miles for 6 weeks. Fully loaded with camper...

Yes, E load tire is more available in an 18", however.... --there are some E loads with a 3195lbs/ea @ 65psi rating, not the higher/typical 3970lbs/ea @ 65psi rating for an E. --not so much available in an A/T in 37x12.5x18. M/T's in that size, yes; https://tiresize.com/tiresizes/37X12.50R18.htm...

2020 Ford F250 on 37s - Expedition Truck Camper Build!

Hey Peter, can you remind us what your total rig (w/ camper, wet) weighs? And front vs rear axle weights? And since you've been running a D load 37" Yoko Geolander X-AT for awhile (which is 3525lbs/ea tire max, at 50psi max...which means less lbs/ea when aired down to ~35-40psi) without issue...

    37s Load D or E?

Reviving this thread... I'm still perplexed as to why tire mfr's aren't making E loads in 37", D or E load in 40". I asked that of Scott Brady here, but no answer; https://expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/announcing-the-overland-journal-podcast.212065/page-3#post-2843853 I'd like to learn...

Yep, cause I've done the math. Peter has been running 37" D's (3525lbs/ea @50psi max) for awhile now, with a truck camper setup heavier than mine, no issues; https://expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/2020-ford-f250-on-37s-expedition-truck-camper-build.216282/ Haven't discussed with Mario, as...

I am getting old. So...what is your plan for the rear winch provision, and for your adventures to find the best tacos, why wasn't the rear winch implemented earlier?

Looking good skinhy thx!! That is a good point, although we don't expect to come across winter weather when aren't equipped with the Blizzak's (we'll have Blizzak's on from Oct to March/maybeApril). Of course anything can happen, but it'd be rare, and airing down whatever tires we have could...

Well, this all makes sense. You're often going backwards anyways, so just continue the trajectory. Zing! :ROFLMAO: But I hear you sir. I look forward to your rear winch provisions, meanwhile I'm set up with a rear winch as well as the front (which I mainly use for pulling sagebrush out of the...

Wait, what?!? Back up homie(no pun intended, but that was slick)....A rear winch? PUHLEASSE! This is about as silly as shaving a new tire to fit it in the spare tire well.

    Expovans Transit 4x4 Conversions

All top shelf parts--I wouldn't expect anything less. You've really got me thinking about another Transit (and I really don't even have much use for one, but what you've created is just too ************ to resist), but a LR (T150 3.5L EcoB 138"WB) this time....loving this LowRoof look, and a 4" lift...

True dat! Glad to hear the new 7.3 is working out. I'm still confident with my 6.2L decision, along with the 6R140. Extra torque from the 7.3L would be nice, but '20+ F-Series would have been more money, less aftermarket support at the time for a new rig (ie LED headlights--although the Tremor...

    Expovans Transit 4x4 Conversions

Dammit that looks super clean and tidy! Makes me miss my rocket of a T150 3.5L EcoBoooooost. Was just so damn fun to drive, especially vs a Sprinter. This LR Transit reminds me of an Iveco Daily in some ways; looks like it'd billygoat up some obstacles. So the front struts are Bilstein B4 or B6...
