Very sweet Defender, love the custom AluCab cabin--I had no idea they built custom cabins!
Curious about the pics in post #32; my eyes are showing the LF fender and door in a brighter yellow, whereas the LR door and end of cab is more of a mustard yellow. LF fender/door and end of cab are all...
Speaking of which, I do have a vintage OverlandMarketingMachine, the PSP100, serial #183, for sale if anyone is interested. I'll throw in a free OverlandBound patch with purchase! LMAOOOOO

Back to your MegaRad build....
I guess I need to spend some time daily'ing it for awhile...once oil temps are up, shift down and spank on it a bit.
Mine is 6R140 6spd auto. I went for it/6.2L as I wanted to reduce the potential complexity of the new 7.3L and also 10spd. 10spd would put an engine into the powerband better...
If it wasn't for the higher entry cost, possible reliability issues from all of the emissions components, higher maintenance costs, and diesel gelling issues in winter, I'd certainly love the extra torque of the 6.7L PSD. But I'll deal with the need to shift down while driving my 6.2L petrol...
Uh huh, and a 4spd crush too? ;)
Oregon.
With a 7.3L CrewCab LWB 4WD shop truck with Banks BigHoss big turbo kit, built BD tranny, exhaust brake, etc. 4spd feels very antiquated to me, but heck, it's a 2001, so it's getting tired inside as well.
Thanks for showing these Peter.
Anyone know if Baja is advertising in raw or effective lumens? (Rigid seems to advertise raw only); https://www.jwspeaker.com/blog/raw-lumens-vs-effective-lumens/
Yes, there's an overdrive on/off button on the end of the column shifter. I often use this (ie turn Off) when approaching a steep mountain grade.
Copy on stock gears + bigger tires = work = mpg lots.
No 35s for this rig. If I need to get a 37" spare to more easily fit in the spare tire well...
********!! 0700, I have difficulty picking good avos, and tire choices are now down to 2.
Good to hear on Radflo, that's what I had heard from Lane and Clinton at Buckstop. Looking forward to seeing them on.
