That would be called a Tiptronic in Audi/VW terms, meaning shiftable automatic, but not lightning quick.
Definitely not to be confused with a DSG(Audi/VW) or PDK(Porsche), which is a fancy dual clutch gearbox, where the next (up or down) gear is waiting for driver input and VERY VERY quick...

Surprised it hasn't sold yet, from AEV forums it seems like an aggressive price (others with sub25k mileage have been selling for $67k+).
For anyone looking at this rig, a bit of info; I spoke to Dale the owner, super nice guy. Reason he's selling is that he has a 2nd PXL (white in photos, it's...
Ah, understood. Interesting data.
It's been interesting to watch the "big boys"; Earthroamer, Earthcruiser, GXV, etc...they've been running out of "pre-owned" vehicles for sale. Rigs priced at $250k+ have been selling within 1-3mos; same here on ExPo for these caliber of rigs priced $150k+...
Why is March better than now? ;) Lots of pricey rigs (pricey for what they are, and also rigs priced at <$350k) have been selling pretty quickly in the last 6mos.
And I cannot disagree with you one bit. Funny as to the kool aide many drink. But moreover, sad that they're a booming business...

Unsure why it's not posted here in the FS by members section.
So sweet and burly. Well done as usual Seth and Kande (and Atlas)!
Eric and Mark, Both of you know that these SMB's have been selling for prices even higher than this for a long time now. And with covid spiking prices, it's kind of no wonder it's priced how it is, and that SMB TX (and CA strangely--don't know why they're still listed) don't have any E-Series...
Did anyone happen to capture a picture of the rear interior of this ambo? Was built very cleanly and I failed to snag a picture on my phone before it vanished from CL. Thanks in advance!
Unfortunately not. I spoke to Jeff at 1st Attack yesterday in relation to another rig. While he still offers super singles for the earlier Ford 8lug, his Chevy/GMC 3500 (8lug) offerings start for 2011+ rigs. Keep in mind that the 450/4500s and 550/5500s are 10lug.
Buckstop has some helpful...
Agreed on no duals and less lift.
Trouble will be finding a reputable company to convert this generation to super singles. Stazworks might be the only company.
Ditto to best thread on ExPo right now...
www.expeditiongarage.com doesn't work for me.
Another suggestion for this thread is www.commercialtrucktrader.com
