I think you should look at sealing the gap as a first step.
My walls are 1.75" of polyiso, but a cold bridge every 12". So I'd say R7 maybe? Roof is a lot more though. My heat doesn't run constantly.
For humidity, I leave the roof fan on the low. Burns a bit more gas heating, but helps a fair...
I really hope someone makes a little higher load rated 36-38" LT. I just am still not sure about running one at the load limit..... Might sway me to buy these at that point.

Awesome. I hope anyone who sees this makes one rather than buying that over priced one.....
I used mine this weekend and it was lovely in the snow!

Simple elegant solution! I like it. Your making me think I should try one of those ammo boxes, I used to have the same ones in the bed of an old truck. Great spare storage location!
I have seen the coatings, just couldn't decide if it was fish oil, and the ones I found were stupid expensive. Keep us posted on what you use!

Steel frame will still sweat though, it's not the door that is the issue, it's the frame. In 15 degree weather it's condensed enough to have a solid coat of ice on it.

Run flat makes it a bit harder to get off the rim..... But, get a 5ln hammer, some blocks and go to town.... Eventually it comes off. I don't want to think about the air needed to get it back on. But I have not tried that yet. Oh an hope you can reuse the Oring.
Good luck. I found them on eBay, guy had no idea what they were. He had 10 sets or so, I assume gov't surplus auction.
I know at least 4 or 5 sets were bought by Expo folks :)
They are a WA-0584 wheel, Hutchinson will make them for you for an outrageous amount of $$
From my research only a few sets were made. 19.5x8.25 10 lug, I run a 285 M608Z. Pretty much the only tire option in a 285 sadly. They are load range H......
I don't want them poked out any more, and I like my wheel bearings, and dislike spacers on a heavy truck.
It may be less than 3/4 too. It's not much

It may wander a bit. The downside is the rear tires won't track in the front ruts. Figure out how far off it is.... Mine is about 3/4" per side iirc (different wheels)
