    2nd Generation Tundra Building

Small 35" tires on stock wheels will fit with minimal mods and no lift as the truck has very large wheel wells. Some plastic removal, trim the skid plate, and one is good to go. Mine does rub the swaybar on full lock, but it is quite minor. Rims with less positive offset would eliminate this...

    Tundra Frame Rust?

They'll all have issues sooner or later, especially if driven in the winter with the coacktails that are used on the roads these days... the wax will prevent or eliminate the issue. But I don't blame one for not wanting to go through the time and effort....

    Tundra Frame Rust?

The rusting of Toyota frames, and vehicles in general, is nothing new. They'd all still be driving around if they didn't rust away. Most of the serious rust comes from the inside out, it starts in the joints and seams... the places you can't see. I use the stuff shown below everywhere...

    Greg and Pattis Tundra

The windshield deicer system consists of defroster wires at the bottom of the windshield. The system unsticks frozen wipers from the windshield. It turns on with the mirror defrost switch.

    Greg and Pattis Tundra

Awesome! You'll get many years from it.... Hate to tell you, but you don't have a LSD. Toyota thinks it's OK to call the traction control a LSD.... it's only an open differential. The 9.5" LSD from a 100 series Land Cruiser might fit, this needs to be verified.

    2nd Generation Tundra Building

I currently have 35/12.5R18 Copper STT tires on stock wheels, they work well, a very nice tire. The soon to be installed 17" Hutchinson Wheels, dual beadlock... there's nothing like a field servicable wheel. I have yet to decide on the tires.

    Hot Rodded Compressor

YES! Another after my own heart... if it does something, hot rod it. A couple years back I ported the pukey little compressor that I use with my quad for flats... what a difference in fill time when the pressure is under 7 psi. Too bad we can't easily mess with those reed valves (other than...

Lexus is250/350 steering wheels are all over the board... you can get them for as little as $150... check ebay and car-part.com. The airbag is the more expensive item... I purchased mine new for roughly $500. The coil overs are Ohlins, top of the line stuff.

Like many folks vehicles on here this is a doitall... work, play, towing, plowing, kids.... The t-case comes from the Land Cruiser which is rated is rate at 13/18, the Tundra is 13/17. I noticed no loss of mpg after installing the case. The truck is a different animal with the AWD... much...

    Transmision gearing query...

Oh, you want to get technical about this, eh? :D The only Syncro part of the Quantum was the rear suspension, the driveline was straight Quattro. I'm in the same boat with ya, VW/Audi nut. I bought the Corrado new, did the Syncro swap back in 97 or 98, don't remember. All sorts of Sciroccos...
