Hey All,
I am still absolutely loving Cameroon!
In a single day I hiked to the summit of Mount Cameroon and back down again, over 20,000 feet of elevation change in a singe push.
To say that it kicked my *** is an understatement!

I wonder.. are those two questions related... haha. , no worries. :D
Q1: There is a very large about of wilderness in West Africa, and I have a shovel which gets used often, but not yet to dig out the Jeep....
Q2: Officially, I think not, though my plan all along was to only really ride at...
I have not been carrying a spare, and always planned to replace both the filter element and the UV lamp in South Africa, where shipping stuff will be much easier.
Yes, filter life is entirely dependent on water quality. It has been fantastic the whole time, though after filling up with some...
Jeep have been making the rock rail smaller from the factory on all wranglers since around 2013 or 2014 I think.. lots of talk about this on the AEV forums.

Hi All,
After a year of heavy daily use, I filmed a walk around of the water tank, pump and filtration system I built into my Jeep.
It's been flawless for the whole time, and is problem my most used modification.
Fire away if you have any questions on how I built it.

Hi All,
After almost a year of continual use, I have filmed a walk around video of the whole system showing how it all works.
The system has been flawless, I am extremely happy with it.

Huh, it's good to know that without oil pressure the PCM won't let it run.
I wonder if it would actually shut it down while running if you unplug the oil pressure sensor?

Hi All,
I am continuing around Cameroon, loving every second of the cooler mountain air.
The scale of Chinese road construction here is staggering, the jungle is being smashed down faster than my brain can comprehend!

I drove a bone-stock TJ Wrangler from Alaska to Argentina. (with 4x4)
Every time I used 4x4 locals would come past me in a honda civic with 8 people in it.
Same story on the West Coast of Africa.
You can travel the world in 2WD if you want to.

Hi All,
I am absolutely loving the mountains of Cameroon.
Warm days, cool nights and almost no humidity.
Sleeping through the night is a novelty!
Also, the people are fantastic!

You are very welcome!
No question, French.
It's an official language of almost every country from Morocco to the DRC.
In countries like Ivory Coast there are over 90 languages spoken, though every person speaks French.
It's the universal one that unites everyone from different regions and...
Hi All,
I am roaming around the mountainous NorthWest of Cameroon, absolutely loving the lack of humidity and cool nights.
Slowing down is also really nice after the hectic pace of Nigeria.

X 10000
I spent a week in Argentina with some friends trying to get their bottle filled, the number of adapters carried and used was mind-boggling.
I have met multiple people here in West Africa that simply gave up and threw away their bottle.
Some of them then bought new ones, only to throw...
My 3.8 was running insanely high under hood temps here in West Africa, so I put Daystar hood vents in and added a Mopar mechanical fan on the front of the water pump.
I don't know if you can do the Mopar mechanical fan on the 3.6.
Is the waterpump threaded? that might give a hint.
I also run...
