Ski Bum Truck V2.0, F450 Rough Road RV

New light arrived. I knew it was going to be close, 30" bar, but I couldn't find and good specs on the bar with brackets. Buuuut its REALLY tight. Like I cant bolt the brackets on tight. I may be able to mount it behind the uprights, but I need to get the bumper on and check grill clearance. If...

Yeah I will give it some more effort to find.... It shorts something in the stereo out.... Makes terrible static noises randomly.

Cool, I'm in the same boat, never had an issue, don't want to..... I run the white bottle PS. But I have never plugged in. Usually not that cold tho.

Grrrr Moisture inside. Cant find the leak..... Maybe windshield. Pulled headliner as the marker lights seem to be a common one, all good there.

Its a dream but a good dream !

Sweet! Mine is an older model, with high only, it's cranks the heat out. I have burn about 3/4 of a gallon per day when it's under freezing outside. That's a 3500W model tho. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk

Yes If I was to do a hitch style I would do a double receiver. Could do a cradle, but that seems like a lot of additional rigging/failure points....

I just cant trust a receiver hitch with the kind of weight I have....

Well I have been noodling all week, I am leaning towards no winch in the front. I think if I need one, its going to be needed going backwards. Last chance for votes :D

I had not really considered it, but doing it again I certainly would! Warm floors would be so nice in the winter. It seemed like a more complicated system when I was designing things, and I just kind of put it away. A shared heat loop with the engine, to use for heat while driving, and engine...

Interesting..... Sounds like an easy out.... Too bad, as I am interested in one, but certainly not going to pull it out of the bumper and have it serviced yearly.

Christmas time! Bumper back from powdercoat. It was rusty enough in places you can still see the pitting, but get it dirty and it will be fine. All new hardware, and reassembled. Leaning towards a Sherpa 25k winch. Anyone have any experience with them...
