Well another great PNW weekend done. Drove a few different road Friday night, and settle in here so we had enough phne service to stream the football game. Sometimes its nice :D No other people, no cars, will put it on the quick stop with service camp list.

Return the water back to the tank? That's what I would have done..... And yes it takes awhile to get hot water!
I don't have the space for a return line sadly. Would Also allow for freeze protecting in the water tank by running hit water back to it.

Just get the rapid remover.... I didn't until I was half way done when it was suggested to me. The other half took 1/4 of the time.
It turns the glue to boogers that just wipes off.

150-75ish lbs probably. Two of us didn't have any trouble picking it up and carrying it. Not that I would want to carry it very far....

Powdercoat is gone, and it took a good whack at some point, buts its still pretty straight and the price was right. 9 hours of driving later (4.5 with the bumper) and it didn't fall off :D
Now do I drop it off and have it blasted or do it myself with a grinder?
The hwt is great for unlimuted showers! But it's slow to get warm. Like 15-20 seconds and the sink is literally above it. Mine is a IW60, suburban unit.
I'd run a recirc line back to the water tank if I was doing it again. Would also be able to make the tank luke warm that way, and an anti...
Sounds like a good plan! I have an on demand propane HWT, it's got some pros and cons if your curious.
I kinda wish I had done dydronic heat. Warm floors are amazing on cold ski mornings. At least I could have run the tubing for later, but it's done now....
