Yeah I can see a bit of rubber helping. It doesn't really bother me much honestly, I can hear it when I'm sleeping but it just means it's gonna get warm [emoji16]
I think I saw the coozie thing on a sailboat forum and I was right there. The quick fist helped immensely with the noise transfer to...
I did get a little project that I have put off forever done. As with anything deadlines seem to get things done. Picking up the new bumper this weekend and need something to strap it on to. So the second tow point is on the list.
Exact repeat of the pass side. Take everything apart.
Hold it...
Looking thru the firestone catalog, top bag is the one I am using now. Bottom one is same diameter but 2" taller. No internal bumpstop though. Build a new lower mount, add bumpstop somewhere, and have more travel?
Before leveling kit, so I should have 1.5" more between bump and axle now...
Mounts just screw to the walls. My walls are pretty stout, no problems at all. I am rather timid of it out in high winds though.
Yes poles can be staked down to the ground as well, they have feet with holes.

I just bought 2.5" external resi adjustable Fox shocks that are supposed to be valved to My axle weights.... Not inexpensive! And.... Feels the same as the 5100's
I feel like it bends right behind the cab, and it's harsh.... Think expansion joints in the freeway are harsh.
@luthj I have...
Yes I just don't know either.... That is the hard part. The bags were supposed to be "better" but they feel nearly identical to the stock springs to by butt.
No one publishes spring info that I can easily find for "leveling springs" but I need 1.5" ish lift and ~500lb spring rates from our...
