    Is it me?....

I see that the travel mug is only available in the Canon version, I guess Nikon is waiting to see what goes wrong before releasing theirs!:ylsmoke: That is pretty cool, I've got to get one now.

Looking into an LR3-what should I look for?

I'd like to keep it in the low to mid 20's-I'm guessing a CPO 08 HSE is out. Looks like I should look for 07 and up CPO maybe the SE unless a trail package clean 05 comes about. I've never seen one here. Thanks for the info.

Looking into an LR3-what should I look for?

I'm looking into trading my 4R for an LR3. Is there a better year or trim package that I should look for? I've heard about a coil springs suspension being offer in the early run (05-06?) but are they so rare I'll likely not find one and is the air suspension troublesome. I'll be using this as...

    Steelhead on the fly

The only trout you see that side over here in NC is in an aquarium! Nice fish. I've read about the steelhead runs in northern Michigan and the fish being huge and primordial, I'll have to try it sometime.

    Evidentiary standard for tech

Did you guys happen to see the thread about what kills forums? Stuff like this is a good example. I'll admit I don't have a dog in this fight but what is the point of arguing over this stuff? It reads like two or three of you have had some trouble brewing that is starting to boil over-can I...

    MEX 1 at 45 mph

When I saw the title I immediatly thought the trip was in a series Land Rover as that is as slow. Neat trip, did you have a chance to ride one of the scooters for a leg? They look like fun.

    Random dog shots

Dixie (the retriever and mine) is always up for a trip. I believe the whippet is a good car dog from what my sis-in-law says (he's hers). Funny, nervous little dog. He always looks like he's had way too much coffee, except for when he's asleep, which is often. The looks the Dixie gives him are...

    2002 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4X4

    Clean 4R-you don't see that color often. I'm guessing it's a 3.4 V6?

    Random dog shots

I grabbed some quick shots of my Chessie/Lab (Dixie) and my sis-in laws Whippet (Patches as they were having fun in the old Land Rover last night. Dixie loves to ride around with me in it and she looks so perfect with her head out the half window.

    The start of "Project Blackwater"

Around my area project Blackwater has a little different meaning as Blackwater (now known as Xe) is just up the road. I was picturing a matte black, zombie survival rig! I do recall that Land Rover had a "50th" decal on the windows but I'm not sure if that included a specific model or some sort...

    Camera Trivia.

Considering how long ago that was designed and engineered it is amazing how far beyond those guys where. Isn't there still many details of that plane still classified? I've hear mach 5+ and a ceiling somewhere in the stratosphere.

    Downtube shifter opinions

When I finally got a bike with campy ergo levers I thought -why didn't this come out before! I raced a lot of years with friction DT shifters so I got used to them but I would not say I prefer them. Now they only hold a vintage appeal. The one advantage of DT shifters was that you could sneak a...

    Interesting Land Rover Defender

I think it would be better as a 3 door than a 5 door. The wheel arch cut in the back doors look like getting in and out of the back might be ackward and if you have a 5 door Defender there is probably a real need to use the back doors.
