Hey. Sorry for just getting back to you, life took over the last few months.
I just used the cheap mounts that came with the cheap LED light bar (now 5 years later is still going strong). I would be careful with the mounts they now have that mount in the door jams. I have two friends who have...
There is a grommet on the driver side, up and to the left of the brake pedal that gets you access from the engine compartment (I removed mine and drilled it out a bit. You can then run into the plastic paneling under the driver's door, passenger door and get it into the rear.)
Another option...
Rayra- all this work, time and $ and you're like 25% of the way to just ripping it all out and putting coilovers in :)
All kidding aside, your persistence is great- I'm sure you'll find those bushings from the dealer- if it exists theyll at least be able to get you a part number
Looking at this again in detail- Ryra is correct I think- It's all the same. The rearmost circle is just a torsion drop bracket from the lift kit. My truck has the middle circled holes (4wd).
I am 99% sure the only difference in the yukon/burb/silverado GMT800 1500 is the work truck 2wd coil...
Interesting!!! Never had a 2wd, but I always assumed the suburban/tahoe/yukon/avalanche were all the same. I figured only the silverado 2wd's with the coil front ends were any different.
Unless I'm misunderstanding, I don't think any of the differences changes any suspension geometry or...
PM'd on the console.
On the fuel pump- There's some people on some other GM forums who have put in a fuel pump inline from the tank (where your 02 fuel filter is along the frame). Apparently, the two pumps work great in series. Also, a proper inline pump is able to pull fuel through the in-...
Also the fuel pump was probably me. I did replace one that way but it's way too difficult for the field(soldering and pucker moment for cracking the assembly plastic) Now I just carry an extra eBay assembly that would get me home in a pinch/don't care if it gets banged up a bit in the spare...
Sorry if I missed something- not on here much recently-
I was looking into this back in the day and ended up going with a Ford gas tank rather than the 8.1's. You get a full 8-9 more gallons (18-20 gallon tank), which made it worth it for me. I just posted about it in another thread, but here's...
Fresh set of springs! Get the Moog HD's for a H2. Should help you a bit. If not, I love my in-coil air bags in the rear. Helps keep adjustability and it feels great off road! (And they are <$200 bucks all said and done)
Welcome to the Burbs!
A stock 1996 ford f150 rear fuel tank fits perfect where the stock spare tire sits.
I have a write up in my build thread somewhere plumbed up just like you mentioned using the f150 in tank pump to fill the main tank. There's also an avalanche on another forum (just google...
These seem to fit:

Not sure if they are 2500 or 1500, but with Amazon's return policy might be worth the shot.
Hey ya'll. Looks like you're off to a great start. double to what everything Stryder says (his truck, and outlook are on point)
My idea with the truck is there's two ways to do things for any given part- extremely overbuilt custom, or overbuilt off the shelf. If I can find it and it works, I...
Didn't end up running the Rubicon- I started grad school and time became limited. I'll throw up some pictures and how-to of the York compressor next weekend. It's a great mod.
Yep- that would still be the choice. Especially now RCD redesigned their front skid plate for the front diff. It makes...
Hey! Work always getting busy, so don't get on here much this past year it seems.
Truck has been running great. Recently put on a york air belt driven compressor on the truck. Seriously awesome mod, Refil for the tires has gone from a 30+ min affair to 5-10 mins. I'll throw up some pictures...
Hey Crazy!
Good to see you getting out there! Told you about the 10 bolt:)
What happened to your coilover exactly!?
Edit- Just read back. Yep looks like coil bind! Time for more lift so you can fit a longer coil:)
Thanks, yep even negative, you can't really see it but the ground was pretty uneven there. With the air bags in the rear I can probably get another one-two inches of lift in the front easily even keeping an awesome CV angle. Just need to adjust the coilovers before my next alignment.
The front...
