Range Rover with Mitsu Fuso 4Cyl diesel engine

Looks like it fits well under the bonnet. I wonder how it compares to the 300 TDi?

    Fuel gauge sender for IIa

Funny you should mention that Steve, I took a longer look at my sender tonight when I was in the garage working on the IIa. It looked a mess for sure but I sprayed it down with some WD40 (only thing handy) and let it sit for a while. I then went to it with some sand paper and viola-it came out...

    Fuel gauge sender for IIa

There $50 over here in the USA. That one is for the LWB tank, I'm not sure if it will work with the SWB tank (if it is long enough).

    Fuel gauge sender for IIa

Is there a commonly availible sender/float that will work in a IIa tank? I just had my tank cleaned and sealed and found my sender is toast. I know I can get replacements from the usual sources but if there is something I can find at Napa or similar that would be even better.

    Tired Series 1

Is the rest as rough as the engine? If so, this is going to be a long and costly resto.

IIa seat hardware-what do I need?

I guess I'll have to wait untill they get here but do the seat backs have a weld nut or something in them to accept the bolt? I got the set from Atlantic British and I think they are from Exmoor.

IIa seat hardware-what do I need?

I've just ordered my seats for the IIa. I'm going with the deluxe trim low backs and will be mounting them to the brackets fixed. I've got the brackets and hardware for them but what do I need to attach the seats to the brackets? I'd like to get the hardware now and have it ready when the seats...

1980 Jeep Cherokee Chief (you know you want it!)

I know this one hurts BKCG-that is one nice FSJ. Good luck with the sale-or even better I hope things change and you get to keep her.

    Where was this picture taken?

My guess would be in Colorado along the divide. There appears to be a sign post just beside the truck but I can't make out what it reads.

1983 Land Rover 110 with the 4cyl petrol - Engine advice

Either the color is off in the picture or that is one pink Land Rover! There are plenty of Land Rovers about, I know it's tough but hold out for the one you really want and pay as much as you can to get a good frame, bulkhead, etc so you start ahead of the game. To some of us the slow aspect of...

1983 Land Rover 110 with the 4cyl petrol - Engine advice

How do you plan to use this Rover? The 2.25 is a grunty little plug but it is not a powerhouse. When you think about it this vehicle was designed to be used on the farm/ on country lanes/ cruising the third world so top end was never a concern. Abouth the time this one was built the change was...

    Considering buying local 110

The front slider is probably an underbody skid plate to protect the area from the bumper to the front axle, these protect the bottom of the radiator of other various bits in that region.

    1964 Datsun Patrol

Looks like it has more in common with an 88in Land Rover than the 40-but those two are really close in spec's as well.

The Gubblemobile- Series III from hell.

Things are getting busy I see. It looks like you've got a lot of projects going at once which sounds tough to manage. Sorry I missed your B'day-I'm right behind you on that milestone.

1990 Toyota FJ75 Land Cruiser Pickups

I was thinking the same thing BUT if these where used by the AG dept to manage the school farms and such they may have never been off site or registered but I thinks that's a slim chance. What ever they were used for the D/S wear is amazingly consistant.

1990 Toyota FJ75 Land Cruiser Pickups

The second one has a fighting chair!:coffeedrink: I would think having the 3F petrol six would help in getting it legal here and I did see a contact for questions on the trucks listed in the fine print at the bottom of the listing. These appear to have been used by Kansas State Univ not by the...

    Decent 110's

Ha- I hear you. Keep the 90SW as it is-that is a sweet rig. Keep this in mind-you're a heck of a lot closer to places like Utah and AZ than I am here in NC!
