What is her SAR area? My Chessie is much lighter in color-more of a honey/tan (I think they call it dead grass) and she is probably mixed with lab or just on the smaller side. At 1 yr she was right at 70lb. She was a Humane Society find so her history...

If you look close you can see the bed is longer in the hi-cap (white one) that was a different model. The top one could have easily been a 3 door 109 originally and switched to a pickup later, hard to tell as they are pretty much the same thing.

Are you going from Raleigh to Roanoke because of friends/family on your way to DC? If not there is a quicker and possibly more interesting route that will take you to Richmond and then up to DC via 301N.

As Tom mentioned the frame and bulkhead condition are key. I would expect rust on both as it's from England. The Defender front end is curious so check to see if there was/is collision damage. As for talking you down....we're on the same ledge brother!
I tried to install my seat brackets today only to figure out these are the brackets for the adjustable seats sans the sliders. Without the sliders the brackets will not install without drilling the seat base-which I'd like to avoid.
So..any one have some sliders for a series laying about that...
That's the bad part of having a CT110-with the very detailed histories of these Rovers and the real and potential values associated it's often best to not risk it by driving much, if at all. I was lucky to check one out in person complete with all damage from the event (Mongolia) down to dirt on...
30k GBP is $46k (ish) USD at todays exchange which is well under what you buy one of those here for (if you could find one). Being an 84 and over 25 years old I think you could get it titled just about anywhere in the USA as well.
