Yeah the PW thing is what I got hung up on. I forgot that was the truck in question and it comes with a winch from the factory. Duh... FWIW, I spoke w/ Thuren about adapting their bumper for a winch on a Cummins truck and they said they didn't really have a lot of guidance. Bummer.

You don't need to install a plate for the winch itself to mount to?

Do you mind showing in a little more detail the mods you had to do to the Thuren bumper to get a winch to fit? Do you think you're going to need to modify anything on the truck itself to have the room to fit a winch?

Are the mounting points for the jacks on the bottom of the camper? Is that how these jacks are designed/spec'd, or is this a custom thing?

For all of you traveling w/ kids in the back of your van conversions, how do you secure all of the cabinetry in rough country (or in case of a roll over)? Is inadvertent opening an issue people have had?

Sorry I wasn't more clear, I meant having them ride in the popup camper, not a trailer. Right now, they ride in the cab, but it is cramped for everyone in our old Toyota pickup.

Does anyone travel with their dogs in the camper? I tried looking around to see if this has been discussed, but there were so many threads that discussed "dogs" and "campers," it was a little overwhelming. So does anyone do this (assuming the weather isn't too hot, etc)?
