Well... I'm confused.
You asked a specific question about holding the swing-away rear tire arm open, then you show an image of the rear storage box.
Last time that I checked, these were not the same things.
What the....
Something that I noted in your truck image is the cable weight bar on your winch (I think that is what it is).
My concern with this device would be when it comes to corrugations and the resulting vibrations, as this could have the potential of creating a wear point on the cable, where the two touch.
Again... how is a kinematic mounting system relevant to a vehicle going off the side of the road?
I am pretty sure that exactly the same thing would have happened with or without a different subframe mounting system.
What's your point?
You could be like everyone else and move the cutting board onto the benchtop when you need to use it, freeing up the sink and tap.
When you are done, put the cutting board back on top of the sink, which enlarges you benchtop space. It's not rocket science...
But, if putting the cutting board...
Many kitchen setups, including my own, incorporate a cutting board that is inset with the sink.
When not in use this gives you more usable benchtop space and when needed, it is easily accessible.
Good in theory, but I have seen examples where people simply forget to check.
If you are happy with that setup, then use it. Personally, I don't trust myself.
In my truck I have a custom built, micro-controller based fuel transfer system, which I designed and manufactured myself.
The system includes a single momentary button and a tri-colour status LED to control fuel flow from my 110L reserve tank to my primary 200L main tank.
The design includes...
What do you want comments about?
Ask specific questions if you want other people's opinions.
One comment I would make immediately is that if the image above is your goal, be prepared to wait a very long time for any fuel transfer being done through a 3/8" fuel line.
My fuel transfer pump has a...
Are you sure it not just a sticky part problem?
I am not familiar with this specific fuel injection system, but it shouldn't fail mechanically after being sat for a while.
A sliding part, on the other hand, could easily be affected by not being activated for a period of time.
Just sayin'...
You could possibly call, or visit, a Fuso dealer and ask to speak with a senior mechanic.
You might get lucky.
Personally, I have had success doing this in the past.
