What are you using for a coffee maker and coffee brand when camping/overlanding?

Question about the video in post #44. Can anyone tell me what brand jacket the man brewing the coffee is wearing? I like that jacket. Sorry for hijacking the thread briefly.

New Expedition Camper - Overland Explorer

With input for others including those on this forum, thank you, I have reached a decision on wheels and tires. I am sticking with duels and 19.5's. The duels are just too stable and standard for this type of truck to switch; same with the 19.5 size. I really worried about the loss of...

New Expedition Camper - Overland Explorer

The full width dinette and table works pretty well. Four of us and we were not cramped etc. Size is just about right. You can even lay on the top bunk while grinding coffee.

New Expedition Camper - Overland Explorer

First real camping trip other than the trip home. Just outside of Moses Lake out by Potholes Reservoir. Right at freezing outside. And freezing ran. I switched the ground wire on the furnace from one pin to another and got higher temps out of it. Right now it's blowing 146F. Super comfortable.

It's spring mount at the four corners plus the center. Total of six clamps. The flatbed has 3/4” rubber mat, horse stall matting, the camper sits on. It hasn't moved.

They are the same in appearance and overall design. Obviously mine are much lighter in construction. I think to use your word they're the same in concept only.

I'll always have a manual calculation. Our fuel card provider requires odometer readings at every fill up and gives a report that includes mpg. So what's the deal with these fantastic fans? What's the best practice with them? I've two. On in the rear of the camper and one in the bath. They...

New Expedition Camper - Overland Explorer

It handles very well. We had some fairly stout cross winds and it was very stable. In fact the duals hunting the ruts in the blacktop causes the rig to wonder more than cross winds. Very happy with that aspect of the rig. Also the traction of the dual rear wheels is substantial. MPG is...

    Composite pop up project

I had a change to inspect this camper last week. It is very impressive. The list of options is amazing. There are none which leads to what I feel is an extremely competitive price. This camper is one of those rare instances where a product IS NOT built to a price point yet is very...

    3.73 VS 4.10 gear ratio’s

Don't expect significant savings, if any, by changing gear ratios. The horsepower requirements to move the rig down the road doesn't change based upon changing gear ratio. If your change in ratio drops your RPM's by 500 at highway speed the fuel savings would be the amount required to spin...

New Expedition Camper - Overland Explorer

Should point out that I had always felt that my gear ratios where lower than needed, even with towing. However after 700 miles with the camper I am thinking they are about, just right. This involved about 50 miles or so of slower speed gravel roads. So right now I am happy with the 4.11...

New Expedition Camper - Overland Explorer

Hi Bill here is what I know. I stress "I know" because much of the paperwork was handled behind the scenes by a broker hired by Overland Explorer. My truck is registered to my business but isn't a commercial DOT licensed vehicle. No issues crossing the border with the cab and chassis...

New Expedition Camper - Overland Explorer

Official camper weight is 3550 lbs. Not sure how that might compare to others, but too me it's a very light weight for a 12' long full width camper.
