One of the upsides for the GX for me is the growing amount of aftermarket available for them. Not having to go on scavenger hunts for things you want is nice.
Yea I totally get that as I'm not a fan of the wood grain myself. That probably will get addressed at some point but its low on the priority list. I thought a lot about this for over a year and several vehicles were considered but as my base I wanted a V8 SUV and that narrows the search...
Working on one. Just bought a 06 GX 470 with full service records for 10500 with 116000 miles. Fox 2.5 coilovers with remote reservoirs for 1600. Fox rear shocks 275. Toyotec springs 210. JBA upper control arms 450. Coil conversion kit 230. RRW wheels 750. So $14015 in so far. Still have to buy...
So I finally flew into Houston to pick up my GX. Thankfully it was everything it was represented to be. 116000 miles with full service records. This lot is getting a lot of trade ins from the local Lexus dealer. Drove to Lafayette LA last night and got back home about 2 today. Drove awesome and...
Same here I have a whole collection of them including a 1934 220B that runs like top. I have one of at least every model 220 made over the years and a couple 228 Big hats and the ever elusive 202 Professional.
I had no idea Coleman lanterns were so offensive. Its even stranger since most campgrounds have a lantern pole in every campsite. It lights an area that is what..20 foot at best. Its not exactly a flood light being pointed at another campsite.
Wow..I have a lot of light...lit up like Christmas tree if I have to be. From head lamps to lanterns, gas and battery to a 8 foot strip of architectural exterior led lights along my trailer and a 40 foot led rope light I'm not short of illumination. Most of can be softened and I don't run them...
The dedicated adventure boots from Sidi and A-Star are great boots. The Sidi is the Adventure 2 Gore Tex and the A-Stars are the Corozal or the Toucan GTX. I like the Sidi more personally. I have used Crossfires and SG12's before on adventure rides when I was doing more technical trails and I...
Patience finally paid off..and the willingness to expand my search area. Got an 06 with 116000 miles with clean carfax and complete service records well below NADA retail. Got to travel to TX to get it but its a one way flight for $120.
My favorite for sale by an owner was on facebook. Only needs some bodywork....lol the rear end is destroyed. Its an obvious total just looking at the pics. Asking $6500...seriously.
