Thats one of the first things I noticed when I unboxed my OVS 270 LT. Those mounts are HUGE. I had already bought the Leitner Designs one so I didn't end up using them, but they're beefy as hell.
And it doesn't take up anymore space than the previous CVT one I had.
I finally got around to installing my new awning from OVS. I ended up picking up the 270 LT model back in October only for it to go MIA until mid January. It looks really sharp and was super easy to install [with a helper]. Its a bit heavier than the CVT square awning I had on it prior, but it...
@ITTOG, Just gonna throw it out there. I'd get the powder coating. I have their skid plates on my truck, unfortunately they didn't offer aluminum when I purchased (I dont think they do for the 09-14 F150s anymore) the powder coating is really good quality. I know the aluminum doesn't have as...
When I was stationed there everyone there swore by Land Cruisers.
I don't wish Chrysler ownership on my worst enemy.
@Jnich77, you moving down to Australia any time soon?
SVC might be able to help you out. They did a bunch of tuning for the Raptor. I have no idea what they offer for the EB, but they're only about an hour north of us and may be worth a shot.
@ITTOG I think I have a solution using kind of what you showed me. More to come... testing the viability of it tomorrow.
@SDDiver5 The water today was actually amazing, it was the wind that got me wanting to leave the beach.
Any more bickering I'm going to have to put each user 37 inches apart... just like the BFGoodrich 37 inch All Terrain tire offered on the NEW 2021 Ford Raptor*
*as an optional extra, terms and conditions may apply.
I'm looking into it. I also may just deal with it for a while until I get a longer trailer... with room for 2.
I'm one of those guys, but only when it comes to doing thing I actually know what the heck I am doing. Backing up trailers is such an infrequent task up til now. I'm sure it was a...
Ehhhh, most of the problems recently have been in those super overpowered stand up jetbskis that Kawasaki has been pumping out the last few years. And before that it was the fact that HP was creeping up towards 200 with no neutral or reverse.
Yeah its worlds apart from the 95 GTX I grew up riding. I really like the the seating position of these and they're probably the best looking of the current batch available. I liked the Yamaha, but they sit really high, and the Kawasakis aren't bad but that tech on them are... 15 years old at a...
Dude, I remember towing my moms boat (its on one of the 1st pages of this thread) and it was stupid easy backing it up.
2021 RXTX 300. I was originally looking at the GTX 300 but if you've been following the happenings with them they put on a bunch of new tech on this years model. Id rather...
Its not directly related to my build, but I took the ski out today. It was 60 degrees and the water temp in the mid 50s. It was great fun! I only got about 45 minutes out on the water. Took it out into the bay, got it up to about 50, cleaned it off and put it away. I'm gonna pop the "hood" of it...
@Jnich77, no plans on wrapping it right now. but If I did it would definitely have a Soundgarden related easter egg.
Though I really haven't listened to them much since 2018. Mostly Kyuss, Mastodon, Clutch, Lamb of God...
I figured as much. That seems to be a safe practice.
That question reminds me of when I was on a compressed gasses segment of my dive training and half of them were in PSI/F and the other half was Bar/C. I'm telling you it was maddening to get 3 in a row of one then 2 in the row of other...
