This could have a huge impact for overlanders, will be great to see the innovation pushed forward by this.

EDIT - this was pulled from ebay (the emergency lights/siren still being functional violates some sort of ebay rule) but the seller has listed it directly on expo.
Wow.

I've searched and can't find any good current info on this, so rather than necro an older thread I thought I would ask anew -
Anyone have a good source for (or can share) Fuso CAD drawings? In particular, FE145 Crew Cab.
Thanks!
Interesting article. I had not realized that (some) newer vehicles have different charge profiles that you can change depending on the battery you are running. Good to know if you are swapping to AGM or gel and what to get the maximum benefit.
AGM or gel cell battery replacement is the same...
Call it guts, call it audacity, call it insanity or brilliance. Call it whatever you want, this is how new and exciting truck and camper combinations are developed. You won’t find this rig in our Newbie Corner. Pick up your notebook and number two pencil. This is Truck and Camper...
I posted an article several months ago about how Mitsubishi recognized the need for a true high-low transfer case and alternative to the Duonic transmission for better off-highway performance... http://www.carsguide.com.au/car-news/mitsubishi-fuso-canter-4x4-dual-range-returns-20324

In order to make a repair to my gray water line (leaking between the holding tank and the drain valve), I had to take the camper off of the service body. This gave me the first opportunity to inspect the frame from above (and the first time since construction that this was possible)

LEDs are, of course, the way to go these days. My wife and I like to have illumination that preserves night vision, so upgraded to red LEDs for the outside lights. The results were... anemic (but still better than the stock incandescent)
This, however, is _much_ better
and it is on the...
A few months ago there was a good discussion on rock lights, and I ended up ordering a couple of sets of these - http://www.dx.com/p/109076

Anyone know how to read these codes? I'm not getting a check engine light, but when I query for codes I get these three. I'm guessing that there is some sensor redundancy but of course want to figure out what this is and get it fixed

I've been very happy with the SRW conversion I did, but am having some issues with balancing the tires. One of the rims is requiring 80 ounces to balance (or in other words, can't be balanced).
Anyone have pointers for where to get big steel rims straightened? The issue I'm running into is...
I'm looking at alternatives to the 17TF battery that is stock for my Fuso. Why? These are a fairly old/low performance battery model, which makes them expensive and not broadly stocked.
Group 85R or Group 49 seem the most likely candidates, with Group 49 the least expensive. Any thoughts...
So I came across this - http://kck.st/1dnbVfn
As someone with several very expensive AGM batteries in addition to normal starting batteries, I'm intrigued by anything that can extend the life of lead acid energy storage devices.
What do you think - viable product / snake oil / don't know...
My truck batteries are 2 standard 12 volt wet batteries. Due to the modifications to the vehicle I have to actually remove the batteries to check electrolyte levels - not the ideal solution and it means I check them a lot less than I probably should.
I'm planning on adding in this battery...
