    2024 F150

Can confirm oil gets everywhere without the valve. Learned the hard way. Had to take off all the skids and clean them.

    2024 F150

I got the 1/4 inch bare aluminum, full set. Got it with a 10% discount for black friday and I want to say it was $800. This was in 2021 or so, I imagine prices have changed a bit. I'll echo what everyone else here has said, you'll be fine and should not need to worry. I have done some serious...

    Favorite Budget Tires?

No personal experience with then but I know a lot of guys on the F150 pages really like Kenda tires.

    Silverado bigger gears?

I upgraded my gears from 3.33 to 4.56 and it's hands down the best upgrade I have done to my truck. I ran stock gears with 35s for a maybe 2 months before I had enough of it. If you take it to a driveline or gear shop they should be able to provide you with a breakdown of different gear sizes...

    2017 F-150 build...Everyone meet Walter White

Another take away is that not everyone in the desert is willing to stop to see if you need help. I'd say 20 different trucks passed by, waved and kept going. If someone had their hood up and had 2 dudes leaning into the engine bay I would 100% stop to see if they needed help.

    2017 F-150 build...Everyone meet Walter White

Welp. Those of you who follow me on IG already know but had a pretty major issue in the middle of the desert this weekend. Thanks to cheap plastic parts, I lost all my coolant a few miles down a wash. The plastic connector components of the heater hose were brittle and broke in numerous spots...

    The Trooper/Blazer I call Blooper.

Regarding the 6 or 8 lug... you're this deep, I say go 8 lug because why not.

    The Trooper/Blazer I call Blooper.

Looks like an awesome project. I'll follow along for sure. I have always wanted to piece parts together from various vehicles to make something awesome.

    tradesman PW

Nice truck! I almost bought one in 2016. I dont think the dealership knew it was a power wagon because it was the same price as the other tradesman trucks, even the 2WD. I want to say they were selling it for like 28k maybe? Anyways, I didn't go through with it and happy I didn't because the...

Finally getting parts installed. Deavers and RPG shackles have completely changed the rear end for the better. Also got the ICON UCAs installed. There was an entire dilemma with the RPG Tie Rods but I got it corrected and will have someone install them for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Carpet or No Carpet in Truck?

I think carpet looks nicer and I'd think it has a higher resale value if/when that time comes. Unless you're in a dirty trade or have a specific need for vinyl, I would do carpet.

Which of the big three 3/4 tons would you look at and why?

Agreed. I always liked them and of course have always loved the Power Wagon. Almost bought a Tradesman Power Wagon in 2016.

Which of the big three 3/4 tons would you look at and why?

I'd also be in the Ford F250/F350 club. But on the other hand, RAM is having some insane discounts right now because they have so many trucks that haven't been sold (which is good news/bad news of course). I saw one online yesterday for like 12k of MSRP I think it was.

    badm0t0rfinger's 2014 Raptor build

I dig it! I have been thinking about getting something similar for a long time. I don't really need it but would be nice to have a legit tie down when I am offroad.

    Paternity/Maternity Leave Road Trip

Nice! We did Hawaii for 2 weeks, a trip to the local mountains and a trip to the desert. The whole time I kept thinking to myself, I'm getting paid to do this!!!!
