We continued south on Highway 50 and our next stop would be at the BLM office in Montrose, Colorado. I had two questions (or is it three ?) for these guys.....where is the Cottonwood Cave & the Tabeguache Cave and what's the best route to get there ? The guys behind the counter said they'd never...
Dogs are allowed on the short access trails here but I saw no sense in bringing two dogs on leash to the edge of a nearly 3,000 foot drop off.....they waited each time in the truck.....

flyboyaviator.....thanks so much.....I think I have an individual picture of every car, truck & tractor that was on that man's lot (I have no idea why). I struggled to choose which pictures I would post here. First I settled on twenty (again.....I have no idea why) and then I whittled it down to...
The following day we pulled into Grand Junction, Colorado (2019 population 62,062).....I think that this is one of those "found towns" and I did not like it here.....

One of the many rewards of travel is being able to escape the many distractions of life.....hours & hours of downtime.....and so it was that I just completed my second book of the trip.....

JD / Ghostdancer.....my past travels have often revolved around mountain summits but this year (winter season) I think will be different. As I've begun to dwell in the world of the Ancient Ones, my fascination with their lifestyle has only increased.....I guess we will see where this goes...
