IRV2 isn't a good place to go with issues. Remember reading about someone was sold a brand new RV that was build with double (so 4"thick) walls to cover up delamination. The owner posted a FYI and he was jumped on by people protecting the brand.
Something we've been going back and forth on.
A box on a truck makes getting places (then coming back) easier but a trailer can be dropped allot more places than a box. Right now the wheels on one side of our trailer are off (hyd. leveling) the ground.
We've been here for 6 days but I didn't...
If you want ambient air temp under a solar panel isn't a good place.
Haven't had it near water so I don't know how good the seals are.
I like to set it on a piece of wood under the truck/trailer.
Seeing some of the DIY Lithium setups is frightening. If a system that's to last 10+ years doesn't catch fire in 6 month it is deemed to be fullproof so people copy it repeating the same mistakes.
It's the HT.w
It's been outside but out of the rain/snow at home and camping with no issues.
Almost picked up 2 more to keep track of the temp of the tanks in the trailer in winter but I held off hoping they go on sale.
App works good.
Check how good they are at separating water. Years ago I headed up a FSR for hours. On the way down I found out that pumping all the fuel out of drums was a stupid idea. After draining the filter a few times I swapped some hoses and pressurized the filter with the electric pump leaving the drain...

An issue with computerized vehicles is that if the vehicle does not detect the trailer it may turn off the charging.
I installed LED lights on my trailer.
A month later I was getting "Trailer Disconnected" while driving then it would switch to "Trailer Connected".
FORD doesn't/won't provide...
Analysis done with or without holes?
Weight savings vs. filling with dirt it's not something I'd do and the weight saving isn't followed through
on the pivot plates or the cross members so it's more of an idea that a factor?
Don't like all the lighting holes in the subframe. Maybe at the ends at most but in the middle it should be as ridgid as possible. The weight savings will be lost when dirt fills it up.
I've been looking for wool pants and ran across this article.
3000 years ago they made wool pants with different weaving methods for durability and flexibilty.

Yes cutting to make the fame lower or it could be done to allow more storage room along the sides
An option to placing the longitudinal runners between the crossmembers is to use a deeper longitudinal section that is notched around the cross members. This increases the welded connections and...
Weak link in the chain here is the connection between the post and the longitudinal runners. Gussets will help allot
Might even consider getting rid of the longitudinal runners and placing the crossmembers over the mounts or cutting the longitudial runners into pices and putting them between...
Using longer bolts and trimming the length to suite would work. Shoulder washers help to. I've had urethane blocks crack where the threads of a bolt cut into them.
The sleeve stabilizes the fixed (no spring) mounts.
Make a big difference on a stuck bolt if the box end of a wrench can be used...
Without the sleeve hopefully there's something to prevents the threads of the bolt from cutting the urethane.
Without a sleeve the fixed mounts may want to lean over while braking.
I also wonder if the load rating is static or peak.
Once the box goes on I was wondering how easy they are to...
I've had Wildpeaks do the same thing you experience in mud and snow plus the extra weight has taken a chunk out of the fuel economy.
The KO2s I was running were better especially while towing. They didn't last though. After 17,000 miles of winter/towing use they were down to 9-10/32 and the...
