Not your usual Cherokee (XJ) expo build

Great thread - always loved the look of the 99 - 01 XJ's, yours looks especially good with the white steel wheels.

    Overlanding Tires

I have to put a vote in for my Cooper Discovery ATP's, I've have had them on the beach in the Outer Banks, up at Raush Creek numerous times, in 2 foot of snow, and at the Vermont Overland Rally. Never slipped a bead, tore a sidewall or had a single puncture. With over 30,000 miles on them they...

    goofiefoot's 2009 JKUR

My best advice is to keep it simple, your Rubi is so capable to start with that you really don't need to do much. Good tires and a small lift will get you far without sacrificing fuel economy. I put a windshield lightbar on my JK when I first got her but quickly discovered that (a) I never used...

    My White JKU Expedition Build

I've had my soft top on since day one. Nothing beats the envious looks from other drivers when you have the top down & doors off in the warmer months.

Loss of coolant on Miss Rubi, our 2012 JKUR.

Any wheeling lately with possible off camber or steep sections? You can lose coolant from the overflow bottle vent tube in extreme angle situations, has happened to me before.

Honest opinions is lifting my 09 JK worth it

My 2 Door with Rubi Coils, 18's up front & 60's in the back, at the time this photo was taken I also had the rubi shocks in there, now I switched to Old Man EMU for a 2.5 inch lift. Jeep still rides great, no need to change driveshafts or upgrade trackbar, & mpg's are still reasonable. I've...

Made it back without any further damage. Just ordered my new rear steel bumper and picked up 4 replacement fenders from a forum friend for $60. Jeep will be better than ever for the weekend. Best, Chris.

Sold my NAS Defender 110 for a 2014 Jeep Rubicon

Aesthetically I think Defenders are some of the best looking overlanding vehicles period. That being said I love my JK and it has been problem free since the day I purchased her. Welcome to the darkside.....

What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

New Front Bumper. New front bumper, Rugged Ridge All Terrain with stubby end caps. All in all a very well made & stout bumper that fits flush to the grill and weighs less than stock.
