    My Junk

Thank you sir. Both the enjoyment of my travels and the response to my tales have done exceeded my expectations. Without a doubt, it was a struggle and lots of sacrifices to get where I'm at. But I do believe I'm right where I'm supposed to be now. And I think that's pretty cool. Tryin' to...

    Then and now.

I wanna play!! My projects have been known to drag out for years ... or even decades. Not this one. I'm done with all that. Decided to exchange money for time and start Livin' the Dream. Here she is absolutely bone friggin' stock on March 30, 2013. Check out the runnin' boards and the...

This would make an awesome Camper!

Way high on the cool factor list for potential. Pour a ton of money into 'er and it could be a mighty fine RV. And then you'd be the baddest rig in the RV park. I agree with Larry ... don't understand where these type rigs go. I asked several owners of the giants at the Expo and didn't...

    Cabelas Alaskan Guide Tent

I used the Alaskan Guide tent for years. Very sturdy in foul weather. As stated, hot in the sun just like any other tent. Set up ain't bad with two people. Very challengin' for one person. Proper set up is to install all the poles first and then stake it out. Doable with one person but...

    2014 Power Wagon review

Diesels will work just fine off road. Just need to account for the weight when you build up the rig. Specific'ly the front axle, front suspension, and steerin'. To each is own tho. I personally ain't got no problem with gas neither. In fact, I even carry some on my junk. I use it to run my...

    2014 Power Wagon review

The author states in the article: "Inevitably, someone always wants a Cummins diesel-powered Power Wagon. The most common argument is for the increased torque off-road. There are several reasons why a Cummins Power Wagon is not feasible or even desirable. Ultimately, the new 6.4-liter Hemi V-8...

Yessir. Tales of my continuin' adventures can be found here: http://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/livin%E2%80%99-the-dream-%E2%80%A6-the-diaries-of-a-madman.789126/ Thanks and yessir. But it's also on my club site which is known to have an abnormally high BS content. But in the midst of all...

    My Junk

When I got the camper installed last December, the fine folks at Hallmark really liked my junk and invited me to camp out with 'em in the vendor section at the Expo this year. Ain't never been to the Expo deal but just confirmed with Mr. Ward that the offer's still good. So reckon I'll be...

    My Junk

Thanks, hopefully I'll have the entire chapter posted up by the end of the day. I'm sure the fine folks at Aluminess would argue the point, but I wanted the initial contact with the front of my junk to be a big ol' hunka steel. I choice the Road Armor Stealth bumper cuz it would hold my 16.5...

Reality check on full timing in a pop up? Anyone doing it?

I would highly recommend a Hallmark camper in a regular pick-up bed ... and avoid goin' in water deep enuf to flood the camper. Water that deep ain't healthy. Maybe you should consider a DUKW with a custom camper on it. :ylsmoke:

It was cool meetin' somebody on the trail that had read some of the crap I post up. :sombrero: It was a great week and I'll be updatin' Chapter 4 of my diaries over on my club site in the next few days. Waitin' to catch a plane right now at the Grand Junction airport and head back to work.

    My Junk

Thank you sir. It's sure been a real pleasure so far. Been fun playin' 'round in southern Nevada. Great lil' bars, small towns, casinos, and even explorin' some of the ol' mines. The rear Icon springs just ain't comfy with the weight tho. Had me a set custom made at Alcan Springs...
