What did you do to your Full Size today?

My crappy headlights gotta go. Just bit the bullet and ordered a pair of the Harley lights from Ford. They're sure proud of 'em. Lil' shop in Vegas ordered 'em up for me and will install 'em on Monday along with tryin' to get my A/C workin'. Blows ice cold air but then freezes up and shuts...

    My Junk

I'm carryin' 51 hun'erd pounds on the front axle and it's far more likely to get airborne than the rear. Two shocks give twice the shock absorbance. Also have my bumpstops lowered to try from tearin' thangs apart.

The fella that done my engine work had mine hangin' down way low as well. Don't reckon he done no off-roadin'. So had the fab shop move 'em inside the frame rails and jam 'em up next to the Atlas and then cover 'em with a skid plate. Cut a hole in the skid plate for access to the petcock...

My Taco Phoenix Pop Up Camper

I believe the opposite. Future buyers should be respectfully aware of potential issues with the product. In fact, the OP even stated he wished he'd of known more about the product prior to his purchase. Prospective buyers should be aware there might be quality control issues with the...

So my plans changed a bit and ended up with a pop up camper BUT I don't know the make

I would recommend to get shed of the blocks and the body lift. Neither one of them is sound engineerin' design. Call up Alcan Spring in Grand Junction, CO and order up a set of custom springs. They can build you a set to achieve the height ya want, still carry the load ... and not ride like a...

They seem to work great as long as the sun's shinin'. Mr. Ward was big on these. Said he had them rolled out as floormats at the Expo last year and had hun'erds of folks trompin' on 'em so he could test the durability. I like 'em a whole lot better than traditional panels. I'm sure I got...

What did you do to your Full Size today?

Got my junk weighed last week at a truck stop south of Vegas. She ain't real petite. Sorta full-figured as a matter of fact. 11k total with 59 hun'erd of it on the rear axle. The 6" ICON springs just ain't likin it and I'm just ridin' on my bags. So today I done ordered me up a custom...

    My Junk

Indeed sir. In addition to pickin' the brain of Mr. Ward, I spent time talkin' to the various fellas in the shop that actu'ly make the thangs. For example the cabinet maker. He seemed like a darn-fine fella to ask what kinda wood I should use for the cabinets. His advice is why I got the...

Be real cozy for sure. I mean REAL cozy. Queen size bed can certainly sleep two. Dinette can certainly seat two. Other than that tho the movements inside would have to be as well choreographed as a synchronized swim team. Or y'all gonna be bumpin' into each other like sumo wrestlers. In a...

What did you do to your Full Size today?

Thanks. The mount was rebuilt VERY specific for my tire/wheel combo. One of the original reasons for failure was the backspacing was off so the weight stuck out from the supports too much. Now ev'rythang is a real tight fit. Please feel free to PM me with any questions 'bout my junk.

Done. They did a great job redesignin' and rebuildin' the deal. Lots of extra support on the hinges, support for the tire, gussets, and new brackets. They said bike and generator box was too much weight tho so not part of the finished product. Here's some progress pics before...

My Taco Phoenix Pop Up Camper

Good advice sir. We started down the same path but ended up on dif'rent roads. I had a deposit down with Phoenix for a camper. Got scared off by some weak e-mail responses and backed out. It was early enough in the process that I was able to get my deposit back. Then visited the Hallmark...
