What about a Toyota Land Cruiser 100 series....that is what I would be looking at...plenty of room and plenty of aftermarket...you can find them in the $15,000 to $20,000 range all day long...with 90,000 to 130,000 miles. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Ditto on interior space on the WK...it is pathetic. Wish I could with the snap of finger put my CRD engine in a Tacoma... Not much re-engineering needed on the CRD...just a decent tune and you are good to go. I have done nothing other than the GDE tune.

There are some things you need to look into on the CRD...there is a swirl motor failure that could cost your thousands to repair...it is hard to get to in the engine. There are however fixes...from a simple fuse fix to a GDE tune that will provide more power and better mpgs but cost $700. I...

Just bite the bullet and buy a JKU....the only reason I have a WK is because of the Mercedes diesel. The WK is a great vehicle, but it does have limited interior room, limited aftermarket and Chrysler reliability could always pop up...I am not in a hurry to get rid of mine...but I do cheat on...
