I am running 255/75/17 ST Maxx on my Jeep Grand Cherokee....I max out at 6200# fully loaded...no issues and they kicked *** in the mud 2 weeks ago at Uwharrie....
Also got my CB antenna installed using a Steel Armadillo mount...easy enough to run the cable to the front. Also got Hilldweller to tune my Firestik for proper reception...:elkgrin:

My vote for the ST Maxx....this weekend in mud...not bad and did not get stuck once...aired down to 12psi and held up a like a boss...was pulling out several vehicles that had AT tires though.
The engine in the 2007-08 GC is the OM642 V6 ...there are tunes that get rid of the DPF for ROW travel and no DEF. Plus these engines are everywhere in sprinters, e350 taxis, ml350s, even the gwagen got them in europe. It should bolt easily to either the manual or auto JKU tranny.
