No recommendations on the camper, but I wouldn't settle for anything other that Torklift tiedowns and Fastguns.

I had it about a year and a half. In some ways it was no longer the best vehicle for my needs. Also, it was too nice of a vehicle to get abused by driving it in the winter and getting subjected to road salt and deicer in the area I relocated to.... so it basically hibernated in the garage for...

I've ridden shotgun in it a number of years ago - that's when I decided I needed a JK. It was even "test fit" in my garage to see if a JKU would fit. :-) It did....

38" tires on a trailer is HUGE.. way too big to make the trailer usable, in my opinion.

That's about what I get with my 2009 3500HD DRW D/A hauling a big camper.. When I'm towing, which is most of the time, the mileage goes down.

Pretty low miles for a 2002. My 02 has 11k miles on it. Other mods I see: Skid plate Stainless braided front brake line different rear sprocket, do you know what size the front and rear sprockets are?

Under the van would provide sufficient weather protection, but from a safety standpoint it's a bad idea due to carbon monoxide concerns, especially as the snow piles up around the van and encloses the area.
