I was set up right across the walkway from VMI Offroad and their Xtender trailer. I couldn't get enough of it - every chance I could sneak over and look at it, I was there:
I arrived on Wednesday afternoon and settled in to my spot in the RV Park. On Thursday I moved my trailer in to my vendor space. It was a bit perplexing to figure out which way to park it to give me some sort of shelter from the breeze. I started to notice that as the day progressed, the...
I heard ooo's and ahh's when it happened, that poor thing got some serious air!! It was the bigger sized EZ-UP... a 10'x20'
This morning I saw the wadded up frame laying on the ground in their display area. Sad... EZ-ups aren't cheap.
Here's more pics of the VMI all aluminum "Xtender" trailer. I've look at it a lot because they are next to me in the vendor area.
It's made in Bellingham, WA: http://www.vmioffroad.com
Tool box and jerry can storage on the front.
Lots of stuff on the side:

D-rings in the floor
In preparation for my trip this week, I installed two more D-rings in the floor last night.
These are the new heavy duty backing plates I had made, vs. the backing plates that come with the D-rings.
I used a hole saw to punch through the diamond plate and plywood...
Awning installation was completed over the weekend.
I had an RV repair shop about 7 minutes from home install it, for a fraction of the cost that the cargo trailer dealer wanted to charge.
It's slowly making the transition to a show trailer and Jeep hauler. I will have it at OX12.
I stopped at the shop today on my way out of town and looked at the trailer. The awning is installed, they were doing some finishing touches on the project. I will pick the trailer up Monday when I return home.
The awning I selected is a Carefree of Colorado Spirit FX model...
It's hard to believe it's been three years ago I installed these nets in my TJ Rubicon.... time has gone by fast.
I still like the nets just as much as the day I installed them. I will have my TJ at Overland Expo 2012, possibly in the vendor area if there's space to park it along side my trailer.
Took it to a shop today to have an awning installed, in preparation for OX12. Once I get it back from the shop I will post another picture.
This is my new "show and event" trailer.
