You are correct in your assumption. I have a Hi/Lo range Tcase out of an S-10 Blazer, regeared to 4:10, add a trans cooler, no big deal.

My van had 55k miles on it when I installed the 4" kit. Now, 3 1/2 yrs later, it has 92k with many thousands off pavement. My front end is still nice and tight.

I think it all depends: if you are good at posting your build on Expo, then go ahead and make the purchase. Thayt way, I'm ensured of some good reading material this winter.:ylsmoke:

Exactly. The 4" is not a lot of work. If anything, I wish mine was an inch higher still.

9Dawgs certainly has one of the best looking Astro vans. It's served as an inpiration for many a build, including mine. What did he say regarding his 2wd experiences and the vans off road abilities? ...looks like it's time to give this thread back to Herbie and start a Kenny Johnson thread.
