    Edgestar 80qt 12volt Fridge/Freezer - New

Someone asked for photos of the actual unit so I figured I would just post them here as well. I pulled it off the shelf today, unpacked it, and took some photos. The photo of the Land Rover is only for scale. It was never mounted or used in a vehicle. It was placed in the vehicle today for the...

    Best lock out hubs?

I have Warn Premiums on my Excursion. They were on it when I bought the truck and I have no idea of their age. They are a little stiff to turn but even in the cold/snow/ice I have been able to do it without too much fighting. So far I have no complaints with them and my truck gets used pretty...

    NH Gen 3 build

I have always loved the looks of that generation. I am looking forward to your build up and maybe we can hit some trails together sometime. I'm interested in seeing how that thing performs in the woods. :)

    portable heater for boondocking?

Catalytic heaters do not produce CO. I would not use a CO producing heater inside a vehicle unless the exhaust is properly ducted out.

    portable heater for boondocking?

I use a Mr. Heater Little Buddy. It's enough to take the edge off in my Excursion with two people in it. I've used it down to 10*F. It certainly didn't make it nice and toasty at that temp but I am positive it was warmer than without it. I've slept with it on with all the windows up. Works well...

A weekend up the Maine coast

And that's it for the trip. It was a great time and right in the backyard. Total cost was low with the most expensive item being the campground fee for that one night. This is a trip that I can't wait to do again in the winter. Last shot from Ft Foster: Random shots from somewhere along the...

A weekend up the Maine coast

From there we took off to Bath Maine, an area rich in boat history. We didn't tour around too much (it's a pretty small town) but it is a nice area with lots of history to explore. We did see the boatyard which had the newest Navy warship. It is the USS Zumwalt and was pretty incredible to see...

A weekend up the Maine coast

The next morning we again didn't have any place specific to be so we slept in a little bit and then made some omelettes on the propane stove. I rarely get a "before" photo of my food as I am too interested in eating it and never remember until I'm halfway through. It was very tasty and cleanup...

A weekend up the Maine coast

Once back in the truck we found that an inchworm had made itself at home. I decided to liberate him back to the outdoors. T was not interested as keeping him as a pet. At this point it was getting close to dusk and we decided to head to the campground. The place was incredible, definitely...

A weekend up the Maine coast

It was obvious that sunblock was necessary for sailing and before the trip I asked T if she packed any. She assured me that she did. What I didn't confirm, and what I will make sure to confirm in the future, was if it was loaded with glitter or not. Her sunblock was a "Shimmer Effect" and it...

A weekend up the Maine coast

I recently had a free weekend and decided to take an impromptu trip up the Maine coast. Recently I've been trying to focus on inexpensive weekend trips and this one can certainly qualify. I'm lucky to live in an area where I have so many things to see and do within a couple hour drive of my...

    Warn XD9000 Winch - $550

I am selling just because I have too many winches and not enough trucks to put them on! It's too small for the Excursion (I put a 12k Warn on it) and I am doing some spring cleaning. I need to free up space in the shop and winches are heavy. This is a good working winch, nothing wrong with it at...
