Why not create a different profile that doesn't advertise a connection to the TC.

While it has 2 axles the articulation is so bad that the box ( + everything inside) is tossed around and gets stuck on rocks like it only has one (overloaded) axle.

OK but if it is removed what allows air to excape from the system? The engine recovery tank could but it would need to be the highest point in the system. ......without seeing the system components I'll stop commenting.

I'd figure if the coolant tank is an expansion or a recovery / overflow tank before removing it.
