I wish off road type 4x4 vehicles were made with larger fuel tanks or extra fuel tanks. I think an extra tank is a safer way to carry more gas. Jerry cans make it easier to fuel another vehicle if needed.

They seem like great trail rigs but probably not much fun on the highway. A newer Dodge or Toyota might be a better daily driver.

The factory AWD does not have low range like the Quigley :(

The Quigley Transit uses the same engine and trans but has a real transfer case so the mileage should be similar to the AWD Transit.

I like having a tailgate when camping and having the wide door opening means you can use the truck for hauling large items as well. Security and dust sealing will be a challenge though.

I wish the Ford Transit had a transfer case with low range and had a better off road stance and ground clearance.

A lighter color on truck and camper/shell helps a lot. Tropical Land Rover Tropical Safari roof is the best solution. I painted the top part of my Jeep's black roof with Solar Flex roof paint (95% UV reflection). It mad a huge difference.

What suspesnion upgrades are avaialbe? Quigley is staying with a manual T-case on their 4x4 Transit Vans.

The shocks hang down almost as much as the diff and are between the diff and springs. On some vehicles the shocks are mounted closer to the tires and out of the way.

The rear shocks on the Ford really get in the way. Poor design for off road use.
