You didn't mention how many gallons of water you carry but it seems that a lot of people are running out of water without realizing it when they are camping. Whether you have 19 or 32 gallons, you have to be careful with how you use it. We went electric pump and have looked back.

Here is a fairly recent pic of our Jumping jack at the Wedge. What a view! The trailer tows very well and is a great 2.5 season tent trailer, which is why we are getting a teardrop. We camp too often to let high winds, sleet, snow, sub zero temps and the like get in our way of enjoyment.

So, do you have your battery behind those lower drawers or up front in the tongue box? I'll be installing my Propex almost the same way. It should work really well coming from a R-1 tent.

Mine is slated for May up at Wanderlust. I took me until yesterday to get my option list done. I'm not saying what I'm getting but I'm not getting the 120v ac system, the shower, any spare tire rack as I'm matching my tires and wheels.

We are actually leaving our Jumping Jack for a teardrop for mostly the same rasons. 60 mph gusts of wind and three days of rain really take it out of a pop up. The ease of setup, I can tow it the same places and the heater can actually keep the place warm.

I would so much more enjoy modifying stuff once I have it rather than build it from scratch any day! Build a frame, find parts to some archaic axle, shape metal with special benders? nope... add, upgrade or fix something? You bet.

Welcome to this forum! When are you getting yours? It's also cool that you going to be using this up in Canada. The biggest issue with our kayaking is getting back to our rig. Lately, we've been using some guide outfits to give us a ride back (doesn't always work though).
