It has the military 2.25 petrol in it. Other than having to replace the fuel pump, it starts and purrs like a kitten. Perhaps I should name her "Kitten"... but I'm not sure how my wife would feel about that.:ylsmoke:
Thought it might be time to post up about my latest acquisition. She/He is a 1974 RHD Series III 109" Station Wagon. Straight from the UK, even still has the plates, awaiting the CA plates.
I'm taking my time naming her/him as I'm not sure I will stay with the red color.
Just as the title implies, is there a tent out there that will:
1 - accommodate 8 sleeping bodies
2 - plus a cooking galley if the weather is inclement
3 - take the abuse of daily setup/take down for 30-60 days
4 - a person over 6 feet can stand up in

Well, back to this engine... add an Allisport Intercooler for an additional 50HP... dang, so many friggin' options. I think the path of least resistance is the 200TDI with it's mated auto tranny from a UK disco...:chef:
