    BAD Bags

About a week ago I was sitting around the house, bored out of my skull. When that happens I usually end up buying some new piece of kit off the internet machine. I opened up the latest (2009) OJ Gear Issue and the BAD Bag caught my eye. With seven of us in the family, clothing storage is...

    Packing Heat...who does it?

Used to carry, now I don't. I work everyday with violent people, people considered the dregs of society. I think TerriAnn hit the nail on the head with the idea that respect begets respect. If it doesn't, then it was just your time to go, gun carrying or not.

Ok folks Kodiak or Springbar ?

I have been scoping out this tent. Which sleeping capacity did you get - the 6 or 8? Is there enough room as advertised or are the sleeping quarters tight if you squeeze that many people in? How do you think they storage bag will do with dust if stored on top of a roof rack?

    The 255/85R16 Tire Official List

Very good tire. Yes, it is a rebranded Dunlop Mud Rover. I put over 50,000 miles on my last set and beat the crap out of them off road. I recommend this tire.

    Surfing up California's central coast

How far North are you going? I used to surf Pacifica quite a bit in high school and college but it was with a short board. Just watch out for the nasty undertow which lines up directly with the restrooms in the parking lot...:snorkel:
