Anyone experience issues with brakes overheating?

Have them check the rotors too as they have been toasted during the "glow"

Were you in low range? Did the wheels spin when you tried to back up? As you said it may have been multiple systems kicking in? Big Brother?

    Old Rovers Too Feeble?

I miss the simplicity of the older rigs but the safety, good brakes, HVAC and reliability of some of the newer vehicles is pretty nice too. I think where you live and the number of miles driven each year make a big difference in vehicle choice.

    Old Rovers Too Feeble?

This thread should be interesting:) Having had a Willys Wagon myself and friends that had Land Rover 109's I agree with Matthew Scott. Toyota copied and improved on the design of the Jeep and Land Rover. Toyota over built the Land Cruisers and used good components (electrical, brakes, seals...

    Nissan NV

I think the market for a factory built reasonably priced 3/4 ton 4x4 cargo and passenger vans would be pretty good. Think of all the contractors, ski resorts, mining/utility companies in snow and mountain country that would buy them as well as expo types. It seems like the Titan/Armada...
