    Homemade Drawer Hardwear

Accuride slides from Lee Valley Tools. There are new(er) ones that lock in the open and closed positions. Well worth the extra $20 or so they charge over the old style.

Dutch Oven on sale at Amazon.com

For sure, keep that one and just buy a proper 3 legged camp oven. You'll want to be able to put charcoal underneath as well as on the lid. I use one like that at home every day too. Actually, I use 3 of them in different sizes - skillets too. I love the Lodge cast iron!

    Land Cruiser Photos

Spending much time with the Alberta crew is bad - your sense of proportion gets all out of whack really fast (they would say it just comes into focus....) Before you know it 38s look just right on a 74 :sombrero: Ziplock with her lid on:

    I need new boots....

I'm a fellow "paddler". I wear new balance runners in 11EEEE, and get away with Danner Acadias in 11.5EE. My older Danners were only 11EE, but last time I bought that size was too narrow. The US-made Danners are great boots.

Anyone have an older ICOM unit (70's - 80's)

How do you open the door to shovel the coal into that thing? Kidding, I think it's cool. Looks like it belongs in a '68 F250 crew cab 4x4.

    Downsized* 1985 BJ70

Sounds like you may be needing a canadian military trailer to go with your canadian BJ70! I think you just described the BJ74... :peepwall: :sombrero: This should be a pretty short build thread - it's pretty well done already! Losing the back seat and adding a drawer set up was one of the...

    3B Diesel RPMs/tire size choices....

Horton! Congrats, that's a nice 70. Ready to install a turbo yet?

    3B Diesel RPMs/tire size choices....

Are the 4.56s already installed? Turbo'd with 4.11s will turn 33s easily and your speedometer will be right in the ballpark. It wouldn't bother me to run 4.56s and a turbo if they were already in there. FWIW, my 70 is on Emus with 33s and stands about 6'6" or so. So 60 or 70? ...

    3B Diesel RPMs/tire size choices....

No, it's still NA. But I also have a BJ74 with a 13B-T, it currently has 4.11s and 31s and feels a bit low geared on the highway. I'm going to emu it and run 255/85R16s on it and expect it should be just about right. Quite a few guys up here are running that combo. What are your hypothetical...
