    Mortonm's 2001 Xterra Build

Or at least a Jeep  Are you going to keep the pathfinder as well? the LR3s are nice, hopefully you can find one that has smaller than 19" wheels on it!

They aren't difficult to replace, often issues come from a lot of rust and seized ubokts, since yours is basically brand new it shouldn't be an issue. Just make sure you have it blocked up properly. Have fun!

    Mortonm's 2001 Xterra Build

Based on my look yesterday I think my reservoir might also be leaking. Funny how we have the same issues. I could attempt to tighten the cover butbibdobt want to crack it, and its leaking pretty good.

    Mortonm's 2001 Xterra Build

I have a pretty serious oil leak currently. I thought it was the rear main seal as it has been weeping a bit for the last two years. I figured out today, fortunately, that it is the passenger valve cover gasket that is leaking pretty bad. MUCH easier fix, I was looking forward to the rear main...

    hiking boot for rocky terrain

I've had very good luck with my Danner Mountain Light II's. They aren't cheap but I've had them for six months and no complaints. Bonus is they can be resoled when you wear through the tread, don't have to toss out the boot.

    Camp footwear

Mountain Equipment Coop sells them in Canada as well. They ship to the US. They have multiple heights etc, some have a rubberized coating so they are good in snow for short periods (read: peeing in the middle of the night )

Danner Mountain Light II - An on-going review

Another couple hour hike yesterday. The boots are feeling great. I have really taken to wearing a liner sock under my wool socks. Helps to wick away sweat and no blisters or anything remotely resembling a hot spot. Repeating the 25km hike again tomorrow.

    Inspire me with R50 Pathfinders

I love these early early R50s with the black up front and the rear swing out, I hardly see any around here. A stock one of these would have done all that I ever needed, great looking truck, love that green too!
