Amazing video. And while I love the D2, you and I both have had our fair share of heartache with D2 ownership, so it begs: "unless you had this done for you (as it the case in the credits) wouldn't it just be cheaper to replace the truck than to replace the frame?"

OK, I'm salivating! I saw a 2011 that Land Rover Roaring Forks did in Bourneville color that was almost as nicely equipped. It was a $120K truck when sold. You got a lot of truck there for the money!

Most people don't know this, but the e-brake can fail on an LR3 fairly easily. I crawl under the back of the truck and spray the fool out of the e-brake coil with WD-40 before going on trips or off road.
If it does fail, the truck will not move. The fix: Next to the passenger seat on the center...
Wow!
One other known issue about LR3's just so you aren't surprised one day. Rear door module will fail at some time. Mine is on the fritz right now.
Cannot get into the rear hatch at all. I will be watching as it is corrected and purchase a spare module to keep in my repair box (and not in the...
That makes good sense. Perhaps it has something to do with the dual battery system? I know the onboard compressor had just been installed before the PO purchased the truck and I don't believe it has even been used. You may check where the connections were when it was installed. Perhaps something...
That is the best looking broke down truck I've seen in a while! :)
Seriously, it does sound like a computer or relay issue to me ... but couldn't say for sure.
It sticks cause I know this truck has served the PO without fail for almost a year. Prior to that it was owned by a chopper pilot and...
That truck is totally capable just as it is. Perhaps ad a factory winch tray in the front behind the wrap around. Sweet ride. I love those Kalahari wheels!
Hi, guys:
I have a 2009 LR3 with the Lux pack 18" wheels. I am moving to a set of 10 flat spoke 18's.
These wheels have BF Goodrich All Terrains: 265/65 R18s on them that have less than 50% (even though truck only has 32K miles). The tires were used in Colorado by a fly fishing outfit, so they...
Ok, Guys:
Please save me from the "didn't you search" comments. If you are aware of a link that answers my questions, just simply post it please.
I have a Garmin 496. If you are familiar with these it has of course navigation, but also has live doppler weather radar overlay to the navigation...
I'd like to also add, ... I have heard some other sites refer to this as mickey mouse and "hey we tried to get out in the out back so we got stuck, gave up and drove back to town for a pizza.
Never judge until you have walked another man's shoes.
I for one can tell you I have thoroughly enjoyed...
OK guys, ... let's dial this back a notch.
Many of you are in violation of the terms of use with the banter and tenor of your responses.
This needs to be in the spirit of camaraderie and fun.
Keep it civil.
Thank you.
