While I cannot find it on their site, I know that Voyager Offroad had this hitch on the drawing board. I have the CURT and it works great for the price, BUT it does hang low and does distract from your departure angle. I do hope to replace it with one of these if it they bring this to market...

LR3 - Best Family Platform. If you have lux package, heated seats all around. Lots of "atrium" effect with the glass roof. Tons of storage, drink holders, cubbies, etc. It is already set up for family comfort and use and you really don't have to do much of anything. D

I hear that Lucky 8 may re-birth this design or something similar. I have a pair of the Rover Specialties on my LR3. The only drawback is that the new replacement air ride compressor is deeper than the original and I had to have the bump out cut out of mine.

I saw a truck that had a slight crack in the glass that had been taken to a vehicle wrap place and they placed a union jack decal over the glass. The decal was perforated so you could see through it, but it looked pretty cool and kept the crack from spreading. D

I have seen the glass panels replaced with aluminum, but the aluminum was the same mil as the glass. It was also "fixed". A good body shop may be able to assist in determining the structural integrity of having something that would "open" up. D
