What's in your interior that works well?

There is a lot of good tech on here about drive trains but what do have on the inside that you think works well? I used 2'X2' foam rubber flooring tiles on the floor that have held up great. I cobbled up a sink base, water tank, water pump and drain combo that can be removed as a unit when...

    Viair chuck replacement

The chuck is worn out on the Viair 440 compressor. It's called a 5 in 1 gauge hose assembly and costs 40 bucks. Has anybody had any luck finding a free flowing locking chuck that fits this odd size hose or is the whole assembly my best option?

    Strange electric break problem

My electric breaks do a weird thing that I can't figure out. If I connect the trailer it says connected and works great for one use of the break and then it says not connected. It never returns to connected until I either cycle the ignition switch or un plug and rep plug the trailer connector...

Cutting a wire which cable and installing.

I used a trick today that I learned from an old timer that has done this for years. I needed to cut a wire winch cable and add an eye for the bolt on a winch drum. Put a small hose clamp on each side of the cut to stop the ends from unraveling. Cut the cable with a chop saw, grinder or hacksaw...

A small 13' version of the Little Giant ladder is available and sold as a tactical ladder. A buddy has the full size and besides being a big heavy tool seemed good. They make huge ones for aircraft and even have an extreme version with handy accessories. I thought the small light tactical one...

    Tires for a heavy van

I've had bad luck with BFG KM2 on the van. I think it's just too heavy for them. I'd really like to stay with an agressive tire if I can find one that will not squirm on the road so much. If not ill settle for an All Terrain tread. What tires hold the road and the weight? I'd like to keep my...

Zodi tent heater blowing in the side of the van.

I drilled a 3" hole in the side of the van and inserted a 3" pvc plumbing cleanout fitting that came from Home Depot. The cleanout fitting has a screew in cap to block the hole from the inside when not in use. It sticks out 1.5" to connect the hose to. It was $ 4.19 and everthing fit just...
