Is there a solution for not having the sliding door hit a wide tire? I could grind the rivets off of the track and space it out but that will look funny.
I have a steel winch cable from a Superwinch 9500 lb winch. It was used about 3 times and ditched in favor of a synthetic line. If you want it then come and get it in Franktown near Castle Rock or south of Denver. I'm not shipping it and it does have one small cable burr on it. Michael 714-293-1067
I can't be the first one to think of this and may have seen it in my travels but I always thought a good idea for a small trailer would be to put a wheeled tongue jack on the rear. Replace the wheel with about a cheap 8" pneumatic tire from Harbor Freight. This way if you got bound up in a trail...
I bought this trailer today and it has an axel like a torsion axel but uses a wrap spring instead. Does anybody know the name of this kind of axel? It's a stought little 4x8 trailer with 15" wheels 5 on 5.5 pattern.
I'm looking at 10' awnings like the faimma 35 and 45 because they look like they will handle branches in their hard case better than zip up units. I really would like the tuffest case possible and highest wind capacity when deployed. Has anybody noted the differnce in the two faimma's? What...
My van came with a typical large Coleman rooftop A/C and heat unit and I would like to replace it with just a fan. Does anybody know what would be a good low profile and durable unit in case branches hit it that would be the best choice or should I just grab a fan like this at Camping World...
I missed the deals on the Pett porta potties but found this today at Wall-Mart for $25.88. Bags are a similar concept to the Pett bags with an inner bag with some kind of oder reducing absorbent and a thicker double seal outer bag to lock in the freshness.:D The bags are sold in boxes of 6 for...
I installed a set of the new BFG Muds on my E350 4X4 van.
First impression on the hi way was smooth as silk and almost silent! Next impression was how well they held the road under the weight of the van especially since I found out the dealer only put 55 psi in the tires. Usually I run 65...
I'd like to do an under floor storage but can't seem to find any picts of what others have done. Seems like a simple idea but I don't want to reinvent the wheel. Any info or links would be apreciated.
In my rig a use a two burner 1lb propane bottle type stove but would like a back-up. I was thinking about one of those tiny stoves that burns the little fuel blocks. Esbit. What do you think? I'm thinking if I just want a cup of instant joe it may be easier to just use it if it will boil a cup...
I just picked up a small Zodi shower at my local Wall mart. Does any body have any tips on using it? How many gallons in a bucket should I need for a shower? I carry lots of water but during testing I needed to run the water back in the bucket to knock the chill off of it before the heater will...
