That is terrible and I'm sorry to hear about this Martyn. As a police officer here in Colorado I can tell you the laws do not favor the owner of rental property. You need to wait 30 days from the time the rental is due back and you need to send a certified letter to the crook prior to having...
I am so excited to see this!! Finally one of my favorite beers in a can so I can take it camping. I don't like to pack bottles. It's supposed to come out mid June. I may have to call them and road trip up there and pick up a few cases to make sure I have it for my June trips.
Although we are not in the market, just bought a Chaser from you guys, and it provides just about every thing we need/want. The new concept looks like it is shaping up to be a great trailer as long as you keep the weight and dimensions proper. The last thing you want to end up with is a...
Wow! Much more than I anticipated. So I am assuming this is not just mounted on a standard Chaser frame or is it? I would think it would be a bit wider and or longer. What are the dimensions of the bed if you are allowed to divulge!
Martyn how have you guys solved the storage issue that the clamshell trailers have? I don't imagine the new one has the same capacity as the Horizon or Chaser. Is there simply a much deeper storage area under the bed? Any outside access to the storage compartment?
Nice set up Doug. Thanks for the pics. I know what you mean about not being able to use things! Since we got out AT Chaser in the end of January we have not been able to use it yet due to weather, work and what not. My neighbors now know me as "the guy who sets his crazy trailer tent thingy...
Hey Doug is that a shady boy awning you have on your Load Warrior? If not what kind is it and if it is how do you like it? I am considering one of those.
I agree completely. My neighbor just bought a JK Unlimited and I test drove it the other day. I've been driving an 03 Tacoma with the 3.4 for the past 5 years and the JK is very comparable to it as far as power. Scott I don't know if I would call it "peppy" in comparison but definitely in the...
Doug that's looking awesome. Glad you found a good deal. It's probably a good idea you did not end up coming over to the house today. I did a 20 mile run this morning and have not been good for much of anything today. Although I really wanted to check out your 4Runner!
I love our 1800 but wish this was not necessary on such an expensive tent. I would like to see a ladder design that has a lock to prevent it from slipping out. This would also get rid of the stake that has to be driven in the bottom on softer ground.
No. A fully optioned Chaser, tent, water tank, batteries, fuel cans, fridge ect is in the area of 1200-1300lbs. These kind of remind me of the Campa Trailers. A lot of the same features.
I've never see that before. That is really a nice looking camper. From the dealers site it looks like they have a few models. Priced nicely also, 11-14k. Of course I have no idea how decent they are and what type of customer support you'd be getting. But they look promising.
I've had a double model for a few years now and I really like it. Have not used it much but probably spend 12 or so nights in it. I put in two 4" self inflating pads and it is very comfortable. Good luck finding something that you can keep in there and still be able to close it up. Also it...
I agree. We buy frozen ones. Walmart actually sells frozen ones that are quite good. My favorite place to buy them is at this little mom and pop place up in Hartsel CO. I highly recommend it to anyone who finds themselves passing through there. Can't miss it since there are only like 3 or 4...
