Tamales are one of our staples when camping. We just take them frozen and then as you said, they can be eaten any time. Breakfast is my favorite time for them. Just throw them on the grill and you're good to go!
Nice 4Runner! When I see trucks like that I kinda regret getting rid of ours. By the way I am usually home Sun,Mon,Tue. Just let me know if you want to check out the tent up here or somewhere in the middle. Just give me a heads up since I've been fairly busy lately.
That is what I believe. It is true the Xterra has a very powerful motor. It' one of the many reasons we like our 2006 so much. I really think it is a superb vehicle. I agree with the above post that it has a lot to do with your driving style. If you are hard on the gas and you pop a fast...
I bought one of these last year and it works well.

Seems very well made. Here's a picture of it covering my tent cot on the back of my truck. Going down the hwy at 75mph the thing did not flap or make any noise at all. Much nicer than the plastic tarps. If...
So can you tell when you send a message if it goes through or not? I'd hate to think I've sent a message only to find out later that it did not go through.
Yes the first week is hell. We had about 6 people drop out just from ingestion so much muddy water they got violently sick! Not sure what the overall drop out rate was but it was high. The second week is not so bad. In comparison!
I could not agree more. However it is a little nerve...
Please correct me if I am wrong but I believe Campa makes an in house roof top tent. They are priced at about $1500 for the two room tent and I believe the smaller one room tent is around $1200. Not really any cheaper than an imported Eezi Awn. I have yet to use my Eezi Awn 1800 but when I...
I'm thinking of getting one and am curious of the post above as well. Also I heard they do not work very well if you use the belt clip and carry them verticle. They work better if held horizontal. Is this true? Also any one use one in wooded areas and have any connections issues?
He's most likely just very tired. I went through Air Assault School back in the 90's out at Schofield Barracks Hawaii. It was one of the most demanding two weeks I've every experienced. We got PT'd to death.
Last January my family became the proud owners of an Adventure Trailer Chaser. The Deka 105ah battery it came with is without a doubt the most robust and expensive 12v battery I have ever owned. I wanted a way to easily and accurately monitor the battery’s current charge and state of health...
We use flannel or cotton sheets and open up our sleeping bag for a blanket. I like the down comforter idea but since I don't feel like shelling out the cash for one now and we have the sleeping bags it's what we use.
