this 20 ton bottle jack? this air compressor?

I "like to" drain ( OPEN - pull the leaver on the pressure relief valve to relive any pressure first!!! ) the water tank after each trip. Draining the tank saves the (we've a Suburban heater with a steel tank) anode/tank, drains the crud out, prevent the sulfur (bad smell when showering) build...

this 20 ton bottle jack? this air compressor?

$270...ouch I carry a 8T ($40) under the back seat plus the factory jack that I've tested. The screw on a 8 ton doesn't bend/flex when extended all the way. The 8 ton is for emergency use. I use a floor jack when swapping summer/winter tires but I will test the 8T to make sure it is working...

On my last tuck I had a set of PE mud flaps that when backing up in the spring crusty snow the screws pulled out as well as thru the plastic. I trimmed the bottom 4"off and bolted rubber on.

Weather proof Bulkhead connector for solar panels?

5200 should make a gasket also but 5200 shouldn't break loose as easily as RTV when the plug is used. Myself I'd rather take a chance it needs to be cut off vs. have it leak on a trip. Another option is a min. 1/8" silicone gasket with a little RTV. Depends if the surface is curved. A...

Weather proof Bulkhead connector for solar panels?

Would use black 3M 5200 Fast Dry instead of RTV. SAE are cheap and will last a 2 years if used 1-2 times a month. The easier it becomes to use a SAE connector the higher the electrical resistance.

GXV Patagonia on the Kenworth K370 chassis

This what I was wondering. Often the dirt is supplied equipment. Custom builders want to build a better product but they are subject to mass produced equiment and short comings in the technical know how from the manufacturers.

    Electric Chain Saw???

I've been using the Silky 2000 to clear trails/roads and cut fire wood for 4 years. It is on its 3rd blade. Spent 6 months considering electric chainsaws and decided to go with a Silky 650. One of the first things to do with these saws is to Loctite the hinge nut and bolt.
