Don't know how I missed it but...
Welcome to ExPo!
BTW, watch the weight on the roof rack. According to Nissan they're supposed to be limited to 250lbs or less. I had tons of squeaks when I had my roof rack on top of my CC.
It amazes me how quickly a salesperson can make or break a sale. I've been in some situations where once the guy opened his mouth I was reaching for my car keys.
I'll have to pass Rog. Haven't replaced the ball-joints yet. That and the fact that, oh yeah, it's Handbrakes birithday. No chance of me leaving town soon.
I suppose you could build some sort of tubed rack and mount to the rear of the 'drop for fuel storage. Or build a small box for the tongue maybe?
I like that design. Looks like a good size for two adults and a baby.
Ooh, just looked at the dealer link...me like the prices very much!
Yeah there were several times worth the price of admission was stated.
I ended up parking Stormy and went to the Basin with my dad and brother in-law.
We hiked the Window and don't think I'll be doing that anytime soon. We then went on around to Santa Elana canyon. Guys we gotta see it...
Nissan Patrol GU wagon. I'd like to do all the work myself if the Handbrake could spare me.
Although that 'Cruiser A4WD Monthly built, that Camel one, sure looked mighty sweet too.
You probably ought to take them off soon. Especially if you plan on doing even mild offroading. You'll just tear them up and possibly do a little minor damge to your rig. Yep, sliders will help protect some.
Here's a thread recently...
Nope. Black Gap was pretty tame. Well except the part where my fear of heights kicked in but that was not arroyo/water related, just off-camber with a 200'+ drop off.
One of the things I've been looking for are the work lights like they have on the rear bars in Oz. Can't find anything here in the States. Anyone have any links to something like it?
