OEM 17's won't fit without v6 brakes. While I didn't check the front, I'm 99% sure that even with spacers they won't clear the front brakes. The rears only cleared with spacers AND grinding on the caliper.
If you want 17's, Justin's options are probably the only ones without swapping brakes...
Why yes you did. She told me about it when she got home :)
Yes I don't think I've washed it in 6 months.... I need to get on that.
Yes very happy with the 17's and smaller brakes. I can't feel a difference in braking performance at all. However, if I were to do it again, I would go with a...
They are in production now:
They should be in stores in June/July '14. Here are some specs:

IMO buy the IIDtool first. I and another buddy were able to get enough lift with just the IIDtool on our rigs.
If you find that you can't get as high as you want, then get the rods. You might get lucky and not need rods.
Argh. this looks more like a "discovery".... Just put a stepped roof and a split tail gate.
Oh and might as well steal the bronco concept for the defender while they're at it ... :)
I'm 99% sure this is the LR4 replacement. It technically has a "stepped" roof.... but not as much as the LR3/4 and much further back.
IIRC The LR2 replacement is that long wheel base "evoque" styled mule that was running around a couple months back.
Nope, but 21 is the air compressor tank. It runs along the frame rail under the driver's seat. Nothing air compressor related back by the spare tire. Only thing I can think of is there are 2 harmonic weights up there.
One of the best way to get these things is to a google image search with the...
The PPI should pickup any maintenance issues coming up (Lower control arms, Brakes)
You will probably want to replace the air compressor relay and replace the plastic coolant "T" for the throttle body before it breaks.
Might need a thermostat eventually, or an alternator - but for the most...
This isn't groundbreaking for having a heads up display, that has been done before. Night vision to spot people/deer at night.
But no one has projected what can't be seen to the driver as if they are looking through the car.
What about a 200/300 TDI swapped DI? Usually in the 10-12k range.
Although I'm not sure what would be legal in CA. If you look hard/long enough you can find them with Diesel titles if the PO has gone through the steps, if that helps.
