I like what the main component of the bumper looks like but that tubing on top just ruins any aggressive look they were going for. Even the Shrockworks bumpers have that same look - heavy duty bumper with wimpy framework above. I know some people just don't like the look of the ARB, TJM, or...
I haven't had a swaybar on my Frontier in two and one-half years! Yes it leans a bit in some extreme curves but I don't drive like Robby Gordon so it really makes no difference. I do get a little more tire wear on the outside of the front set due to extra force exerted on them but having the...
Saw those in a magazine recently. I think it was Peterson's or something. Anyway they look very nice. That's one of the reasons I've been inclined to keep the IFS - ground clearance on the front end.
A winch is one of those things that you wish you had when you don't have one. I haven't used mine very much but there have been a couple of times when that was the only option. Plus if you ever wheel alone they can save you a long hike out.
Pretty sweet invention! Beats just laying something up there and hoping it doesn't slide off. Gotta figure something out for my V6 and the overhead intake manifold.
Looks pretty snazy! Never have I seen red air line before. Anything special there?
BTW, I noticed no easy way to drain the tank. Do you have a filter on it or just unbolt it, rotate it, and then drain?
Flyingwil - can you explain what you mean with the flip-up plate? I'm in a design rut on...
33's? Probably what you need is a setup similar to mine - 3" Calmini SL and a 2" Performance Accessories BL. I do still rub on tuck/hard turn manuevers. Not a lot but some.
1000$ for an SAS? Only if you're doing most of the work yourself. Like all of it. Most SAS setups have been in the...

All of the above have forums, but the 4x4parts.com one is actually a dealer of Nissan accessories -...
Thanks for the compliments on the truck.
We went to Sands a couple of years ago. This time we just drove by it on the way to Cruces and Paso. Wish we coulda stopped but didn't have the time. That area kinda intrigues me. All those little buildings on the Missle Range. What the heck are...
yeah, my truck is the only year they made the crew cab in that multipiece front end. After that it became that huge one piece nose. It's okay, but I like the old look.
And thanks! I'm quite happy with the looks of Stormtrooper. Actually he's getting ready to have some changes made to him...
We just got back from a trip to Ruidoso, NM with her. Long trip. She did okay on the way out but did better on the return. 'Bout an eleven hour trip. Tough on mom and pop for sure!
Camping still is in the control of the Controller (mom). Someday soon though. Gotta wait for the Mountain...
